Best Uses

Comments about Dari Persian Phase 1, Unit 21-25:

    Pros -
Recall words, phrases and responses with ease due to the repetative nature.
Active learning is required for faster comprehension - pause and consider response.
Word translations are explained so that connections can be made with other words.
MP3 can be added to mobile or transportable device and used anywhere - while walking, craftwork or during dishes.
New words are repeated for several lessons and also further on in the units so that comprehension is more likely.
Success is felt as full sentences are understood at the beginning of every lesson.
The pace of learning ensures you are not bored and always challenged with new words.
Native speakers with different ways of pronouncing words in a non-formal way provided.

    Cons -
Time consuming to find 30 minutes of quiet time every day.
More emphasis on written language would be great to enable reading text and learning that way also.
It would benefit me greatly if I could read (visual input) the text that is being read by the speakers as I would be able to distinguish between similar words quicker and with more assurance. At the moment, I am writing the text down so that I can grasp it better.
Additional vocabulary resources would be great for extending conversational abilities.
