Pimsleur Proficiency Guarantee
We believe so strongly in the effectiveness of the Pimsleur Method that we guarantee spoken proficiency if you complete the first 30 lessons of a Pimsleur Language program.
Purchase a copy of any Pimsleur Comprehensive Level I (CD), Phase 1 (MP3), or the Unlimited Level 1 (software) from either the Pimsleur.com website, or from our Customer Service Center (1-800-831-5497).
Follow the instructions included with the course and complete the 30 lessons, plus the Reading Lessons (or Culture Notes).
Contact Language Line, an independent tester, (www.languageline.com /pimsleur), and register to take the test. Please note that registration for the test costs $100, and testing must occur within 60 days from the date of your Pimsleur purchase.
We guarantee that you will pass the test at least at the Level I, Novice level. If you are unable to pass it at the Novice level, you can get a full refund of your purchase price for the course.
To apply for the refund, please mail a copy of your receipt for the Language Line testing fee, a copy of your Language Line test results, and an original e-mail or receipt for the purchase price of the Pimsleur course with the date of purchase circled to:
