    Comments about Armenian (Western), Compact:

I speak English only, I know a handfull Spanish words. I expected getting started on a language would be harder, I'm thoroughly impressed with this method!
Western Armenian is spoken by the Armianian diaspora outside of Armenia, we have a large population here in southern California. Using these 10 lessons I was able to get a good start learning the language. I can greet/farewell, express thanks or distaste, ask for a variety of basic everyday items, refer to now/later or other references of time, and ask any basic who/what/when/where/why type of question.

I'm most impressed with my own ability to pronunciate things properly using this method, I am complemented on this most of all. I hope they are planning to make more Western Armenian lessons! It was very easy to use in the car or using my headphones during other downtime, it helps being able to speak it aloud when prompted but in public places I found it worked just as well if I didn't speak aloud. Listen to each lesson until your comfortable with it before you move on, and go back to the second lesson and listen all the way through again once you've done 5 or 6. I plan to use Pimsleur to learn my next language, again very impressed!
