Comments about Swiss German Phase 1, Units 1-10:

I listen to the lessons in the car on trips and on my iPod at home. It is well organized and clear. It is progressive and I feel confident as it loves on and reviews at the same time. I just love it and look forward to working with it. My only complaint is that there is no Phase 2 or 3. There need to be more!

Comments about Swiss German Phase 1, Units 1-10:

I moved to Switzerland to begin a new job with a Swiss company. I spent a LOT of time looking for some way to learn Swiss German. There are a smattering of websites and online videos about the language, but nothing that is as structured, useful, and effective. I had previously used the German program, but that language and Swiss German have almost nothing in common. As I'm now actually living in Switzerland, people have been impressed that I've tried to learn their language rather than only speaking traditional German.

            Comments about Swiss German, Compact:

I use it while I take my walks or while pulling weeds in the garden. It's so good to get proper pronunciation. I've also used Pimsleur for Mandarin Chinese, Egyptian Arabic, Swahili, and Spanish and always the locals are amazed at my pronunciation.

Comments about Swiss German Phase 1, Units 1-10:

This program is great! I have to agree with other reviews that the woman's voice on this is fantastic! She is great to listen to and a perfect choice as someone to hopefully emulate. My only negative is that I was hoping to have progressed a little further by the end of the program. With that said the pace was great and I wouldn't have wanted it to have covered more in the lessons that are provided. Really I'm just disappointed that there are only 10 lessons.

            Service and delivery comments:

PLEASE ADD MORE LESSONS!!!! This is the only source for learning Swiss German that I can find and you can't get very far with only 10 lessons. To be able to really speak with someone beyond pleasantries would be fantastic.

Comments about Swiss German Phase 1, Units 1-10:

The structure of the lessons are set up very well. The speakers are very clear and provide you with enough repetition for the lessons to stick. The 30-minute lessons go by very quickly -- even after repeating them several times. (I downloaded the lessons and listened to them while doing chores and other similar, mindless tasks.) My wife is Swiss and this will allow me to better communicate with her family in their language (rather than High-German, which I've also been learning).

            Service and delivery comments:

Unfortunately only the first 10 units are available in Swiss German. I'm hopeful they will add 11-20 at least.
