The emphasis is on pronunciation and comprehension, and on learning to speak Swahili.     I have studied languages in various schools and on my own with different books but I think this is the absolute best way for the average person to learn a language - totally unencumbered by reading or writing, getting the grammar in small, practical doses. The accumulative aspect of the course is the best way to go in learning a foreign language, it is very close to how children learn.

      I never write reviews or take surveys but I love this product. It works so well. I've checked out other language learning programs from the library and they don't work at all. This method is perfect for my brain. I listen while I wash the dishes or wait for the bus. It helps me memorize tons of words and now I know the proper pronunciation.
