I have been interested in learning Spanish and tried to study by using a text, but it was quite boring just remembering the word on the text.
Pros
-With the Pimsleur, I can study during the commute.
- I do not have to stop or play back and force the player to repeat the words to remember.
-The lesson plan is interesting. Before studying how to count or how to say days and months, they teach us how to say "I want to drink beer, I don't have any money, you pay for it. But I dont have any time. Thank you, and Good bye!" I am not remembering each sentence, but I can make the sentences. And I was able to do so in a week. I think if I was a traveler to a spanish speaking country, I think that is all I need to say!

-I'm not really sure what to do with reading parts... they just pronounce words and don't explain the meaning of them. Some words are ok as they were used in the lessons, but the rest of them are not used in previous lessons.

I am enjoying the product, but for me at least it takes more than 30 minutes a day. The flash cards are helpful and the quick match phrases, but I need to do them several times.
Don't look at the answers for the quick match as it is far too easy to chose the correct one even if you only know one word.

I love having this product! It's a half hour lesson every day, where they help with pronunciation and comprehension. It goes back and reviews words as you continue throughout the lessons. It also has flash cards and sentence matching to help remember what the words mean.

Great customer service. I had a problem with a scratched disk; customer service mailed me a new one without any problems.
As far as the product is concerned, the audio system is great, especially if you spend a lot of time commuting in an auto or on a train. I also like the fact that the program starts with conversation that can be immediately used, unlike Rosetta Stone
