    Comments about Latin American Spanish, Conversational:

    Terrific, Amazing, I am totally satisified. I did my research and it is paying off. I am one CD into study I already have results, following the suggested directions, and my friend who is Spanish said without my asking, "You speak Spanish Good". Costa Rica here I come. :-}

    And yes, of course I would recommend Pimsleur to a friend and anyone else who is interested in learning to speak a new language. It works!

    have Fun,
    CJS

      Comments about Latin American Spanish, Conversational:

      Intonation is so important, as well as the elision of endings into beginnings of words. These are simply learned by repeating the examples. You learn what you will use. For oldsters like me, the repetition lodges the words into your head and keeps them there. If I had more time, I could speaklike a native PDQ.

          Comments about Latin American Spanish, Conversational:

          Each lesson is the perfect length for my drive to work. Then if needed, I repeat it on the way home. I never thought I'd be able to learn a new language but this system really works and is fun. I will definitely be continuing beyond this first set.

            Comments about Latin American Spanish, Conversational:

            I practice every day and sometimes get anxious due to inability to think in Spanish. I find I always have to translate in my mind before verbalizing. Perhaps, if I can stay with it long enough, this will change.

            The quality of this program is outstanding production wise, and the pace of new material seems appropriate. Being 79 years old limits my ability to fully benefit. I am much more satisfied with the listening approach than with previous attempts using classroom methods.
