I try to listen to a 30 minute lesson each day reviewing the same lesson several times until I feel proficient. I like that the beginning of each lesson reviews prior learning and that prior learning is sprinkled throughout the lessons. This keeps me from being overwhelmed with new words and phrases and I feel like I'm making progress. I will buy the next lessons.

I love Pimsleur, but when I took advantage of a special promotional pricing on the introductory Russian, I apparently didn't read closely enough to discover selecting this automatically signed me up to receive the ENTIRE Russian course costing approximately $1000. When the first shipment arrived and I called to return it, I had to pay the return shipping myself. I wasn't happy about this.

Excellent product. Use it frequently when driving, to continue to refresh my knowledge. However, I am ready to proceed to more conversational Russian, and wish that there was a Phase 4, as there is for other languages.
Wish there was more explanation of grammer.

I recieved a couple of language learning tools to learn basic Russian as a gift so that I could better embrace my cultural roots. One of the items was Quick & Simple Russian. I found it to be so effective that I am now enthusiastic to take it even further and become totally fluent in Russian. It even got me excited about starting to learn other languages as well. I decided to set it as a goal to become multi-lingual. I plan on using the Pimsleur programs to get me there. They are fun and effective. The Quick & Simple programs provide an excellent foundation.
