Comments about Russian Phases 1-3:

I use this product as I drive to and from work every day. It's been perfect for me and my learning has progressed very quickly. Everything I thought I would need and expected regarding learning a new language Pimsleur gives me, so I've had no problems. The way Pimsleur incorporates memory retainment principles is excellent, too, decreasing the amount of time I have to spend trying to remember vocabulary.

Comments about Russian I-III:

I was given the honor of being the Chief Medical Officer for Team USA in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. When I got the call on Feb 28, 2013, I ordered 2 Russian Learning programs at once. Pimsleur was the clear winner for me enabling me to learn the language while I was in my car or listening in my helmet while skiing. I spent about an hour per day for 7 months and when I went on a site visit to Moscow and Sochi, I was amazed at how fluent I had become.
The ability to speak the native language of the Olympic Organizing committee was invaluable. I was able to help my team to success in so many ways, I cannot name them all here.
I am so convinced that this program works, I am now preparing for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, Brazil!

    Comments about Russian Phases 1-3:

Very effective in the way each lesson builds on the previous in a very practical and useful way. Moves quickly but not with tons of vocal but rather with sentence building and speech patterns. More useful than rogue vocab memorization.

    Comments about Russian Phases 1-3:

It is probably too soon for me to write an accurate review, but after a few lessons in, it was money well spent. What I really enjoy is the portability. During the working day, I repeatedly play one lesson in the background, just to get acclimated with it. After work, when I am able to focus on the lesson, I feel more prepared.

I am unsure how I feel about there being no visuals with the audio files (the VP did say the developers are working on this) and limited exposure to the grammar/alphabet, but on the flip side, I think learning the grammar would take away from the best part of Pimsleur: being able to have effective face-to-face encounters with native speakers.

The Graduated Interval Recall, and Principle of Anticipation are not just marketing jargon, they truly challenge ones thought process and help one to memorize the new language.

The time allocated for the interactive response is too short for me, but I would much rather click pause when I need too rather than waiting an extended period of time to check if my response was accurate.
