      Comments about Pimsleur Lithuanian, Compact:

I started dating a girl from Lithuania while she was in the US for the summer. I wanted to show off by learning some of her language. I had a half hour commute to work so the lessons fit into that time nicely. The first lesson kicked my butt. I had to repeat it 4-5 times before I got 90% of the review words right. Just talk out loud while driving alone and repeat everything over and over again. It got better with the other lessons and after two weeks I walked up to her and asked her in Lithuanian how she was doing. I freaked her out because I had no accent. I keep waiting for advanced lessons to be released. We've been married for 8 years and the most words I've learned was from this first set. It's really just a hundred words or so. Just enough to survive. I want to speak the language. Keep making more.
