Comments about Japanese Phases 1-2:
I go over each unit at least three times a day. I also repeat each word, phrase, etc, to myself to help with pronunciation. What makes Pemsleur a great product is the fact that it keeps every thing you learn fresh in your mind and gives you a recap of what you learned in the previous lesson. Pemsleur is also great at giving you cultural notes that let you know what to say and not to say while touring in a foreign country. The only two negative things I have to say about the Pemsleur product is that some units are overwhelming with vocab and phrases that it gets frustrating and sometimes I have to divide the units into two parts so that it makes it a bit more easier to retain the information giving to me. Also the Pemsleur product doesn't have a writing system, so if I want to read in that language I wouldn't be able to. Other than that Pemsleur gets five stars.

Comments about Japanese I-II:
Before going to any new country, I listen to the Pimsleur lessons in my car. When I get off the plane in that country, I am able to start speaking to people in their language. The response of people is always enthusiastic; they immediately become more open and helpful. I have learned many languages through Pimsleur and am a big fan. Now I use it when I drive for entertainment and relaxation. The only problems I have encountered are with the accents (tones) in languages like Mandarin or Thai
