I simply listen to the lesson and do the readings from the convenience of my laptop, either when I wake up (usually the best time) or after work as just a fun thing to do to wind down from working.
The greatest thing about Pimsleur is the customer service. I highly recommend that when people purchase your product that they call and speak to an associate first. They will find not only an outstanding program that makes learning 5 new languages not seem like a barrier but rather seem much easier than one would imagine, the clients of Pimsleur will talk to someone they can trust to help make the best decision tailored to their Strengths; Interests; Goals; and Needs!

Learning a language with Pimsleur has been wonderful. I was speaking the language in just days by just spending 30 minutes per day in practicing the language. Everyday, I would get so excited because I was learning at a basic conversational speed.
Also Pimsleur allows you to purchase Units at a time and immediately download it on your computer so you can start learning right away. This was an awesome buy because Rosetta Stone doesn't have a payment option that allows you to make minimum payments per unit...so it really works for people on a budget like me! I'm loving it and now I have the confidence that I can learn a language.

Most useful and helpful is its direct approach which recycles the information while building upon concrete usage rather than vocabulary in the abstract. I also found that when unable to fully participate in the learning, simply listening to it while on public transit etc. was helpful, especially if I knew that I would not have a chance practice in the evening.
