    Comments about Hebrew Phases 1-3:

I couldn't log in to the product after it was downloaded. I spoke with a supervisor and she sent me, supposedly, three MP3 discs but they are blank. I will be calling to see how you intend to remedy the situation.

      Comments about Hebrew Phases 1-3:

I speak several languages, some fluently, others barely. I've tried many different approaches - classroom, immersion, tony computer programs with pictures, and Pimsleur (Portuguese and now Hebrew). Pimsleur is by far the best. No distractions; only comprehension and speech. The amazing part is that it focuses on both of these *at speed* and enables comprehension of normal conversation. No other approach has done that, even immersion, so quickly and effectively. It also focuses on pronunciation, which is not only esthetically pleasing but essential to comprehension as well. The grammar part is functional, not didactic. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

        Comments about Hebrew Phases 1-3:

I use Pimsleur while doing other things such as long commutes, bike riding or on treadmill. The great part is that it keeps drilling you until you can solidly recall what they've covered. The downside so far are that some of the sounds are hard to hear and it would help to be able to see what it's supposed to sound like and sometimes they answer too quickly.

I am only on Lesson 10 of Level 1 (90 total lessons) and I feel confident enough to speak and understand Hebrew. The Language that seemed like Chinese to me is finally becoming second nature. LOVE IT!

            Comments about Hebrew Phases 1-3:

If I had lots of free time, I'd look for a teaching program where no English is spoken because images and perhaps video are used to explain words. Or: minimal English. But I don't have free time so I wanted a program I could listen to while doing chores. Pimsleur has met my high expectations in making a language learnable and memorable even though a lot of translation is needed. I've had one month so far. I find the reading part light but on the other hand since I don't have time that works.
