    Comments about German Phases 1-2:

I was more than a little surprised to receive an email from Pimslieur asking for a review. Their reputation precedes them and after using their product for 3 weeks, I indeed concur with the vast majority of Pimslieur's customers.
What I like most about it, is how they have you repeat the same things over and over. The language sinks into your subconscious. Also how they break down the sounds down to syllables to make sure you get it right. I taught English as a second language and used the same method very effectively. This is very important to achieve a perfect accent, specially with more difficult languages such as Russian.
What I would like to have is the same course without the English speaker, so I can listen to it in the morning when I wake up. That's an additional way of having the language penetrate the subconscious. But that's really a detail...Last night as I was going to sleep, I heard in my head: Viderholen Sie bitte! (Repeat please).

    Comments about German Phases 1-2:

Right now the program is fairly simple given I already knew some German. The vocabulary is weird and should somehow be extended to better learn the word. Maybe give examples of the use of the word again even though you've studied them in the exercises.

    Comments about German Phases 1-2:

Excellent at getting you what you really need in order to speak the language. I have been through Rosetta Stone, and Yabla, but this is the real deal.

      Comments about German I-II:

I use the cd's in my car as I drive to and from work, and around town.
I am learning basic phrases, AND, my ear is learning to HEAR the words.
      THIS IS EXCELLENT.

I'm really wanting more vocabulary! I've studied and reviewed both German 1 and 2 several times - enough that my speaking and hearing is almost at 95+%!
Pimsleur's method is working for me!

Why 'the polyglot' tagline? cause I've used the Spanish 1 and 2, and Cantonese 1, and have French 1 and 2 in the pipeline. I plan to be comfortable in 4 languages by Jan 2014!
With Pimsleur, that goal is certainly DOABLE!
