When driving, it is the perfect time for me to do the lessons. My trips seem shorter as I challenge myself to learn as I go. I plan to continue these language lessons even after we are back from vacation.

I believe the best thing I can say about your product is that I spent 6 mos. in France after the wall was built around Berlin. I wanted to learn the language, made friends with locals in small village. I figured out fairly quickly that there are very helpful verbs, and regular verbs all have the same endings. Within three months Italians thought I was French. The Pimsleur system seems to work in a similar fashion. Listening to the CDs is very much like being in country. It is a logical and natural approach that if done as directed, and one speaks the exercises outloud I believe anyone can learn French. Pimsleur makes the language fun. And Yes! I have suggested it to a friend going to France over the holidays.

I was skeptical about being able to learn another language but I love this product. I download lessons to my ipod and I am able to do the lesson during my commute to work. I am able to learn quickly and retain what I've learned so far. I think Pimsleur's method is very effective because they make you repeat and sometimes go back a few lessons for you to remember. I'd recommend Pimsleur to anyone that wants to learn another language. The only drawback to learning while you drive is that you cannot see the spelling but I am careful about doing the reading lessons at home. Overall, great product
