I use it a lot, and it has helped. It isn't REALLY learning it in ten days, however this has become one of my favorite gifts. More advanced options would help, and seriously, you can't read?

Great! Couldn't be better. It's an accessible approach to start speaking the language quickly. My husband & I are doing the lessons together! We are both enjoying learning French. We have a French tutor who also helps us but it is not necessary. We could easily do it on our own. I highly recommend the Pimsleur method.

Merchant response: If you have only done the Basic, you will be pleased that there are far "more advanced options." The Basic has 10 Units and French now goes through French I, II, III, and Plus, for a total of 100 lessons. And yes, you will find Readings with the full level courses also.
