      Comments about French, Basic:

Using the program while I commute. Lessons are productive and I really feel as if I'm beginning to grasp some of it. I've had to go back and listen two or three times but that often proves that I am grasping the subject because during review, I am familiar with a large part of the lesson.

I have noticed though that my retention away from the program is not that good.

I use it a lot, and it has helped. It isn't REALLY learning it in ten days, however this has become one of my favorite gifts. More advanced options would help, and seriously, you can't read?

              Comments about French, Basic:

Great! Couldn't be better. It's an accessible approach to start speaking the language quickly. My husband & I are doing the lessons together! We are both enjoying learning French. We have a French tutor who also helps us but it is not necessary. We could easily do it on our own. I highly recommend the Pimsleur method.
