Comments about Arabic (Egy) Phase 1, Unit 16-20:
As a NY resident, I don't drive but I walk a lot. So I listen to the tape and speak the phrases aloud. With everyone talking mysteriously to no one because of cell phones, this does not look odd at all (any longer).
I think Pimsleur's an excellent way to learn a foreign language. They start easy, repeat things and I'm remembering it. I've tried it out on a Yemenese & a Moraccan shopkeepers and both said that I was speaking Egyptian. Inflection on Pimsleur is excellent.
